Abnormal uterine bleeding also called as Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding (D.U.B.) affects most of the women sometime in life .

In this Condition, menstrual bleeding occurs outside regular menstrual cycle. 

The common cause been hormonal disorders, mostly seen in girls having puberty or women experiencing Menopause.

Most common causes of D.U.B. are as follows

• PCOD - Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome 

• Uterine Fibroids/polyps ​​

• Sexually transmitted diseases like chlymadia or gonorrhea

• Any coagulation disorder (rare)
